Backpacking in Perhentian

Oh it's so dusty here.
It has been forever since I last update this.
I'm here just to express some of my thoughts.
I am just back from an assignment trip.
There are a total of four girls in my group and we were assigned to backpack in Perhentian Island, forced to stay at a nasty chalet as we have to budget our trip but the outcome turns out to be awesome, way beyond awesome!
Lizards, spiders and all weird insects can be found in the chalet, yet they are harmless.
The sun is so bright yet we enjoyed till the very last moment.
The people there are awesome.
The locals are so friendly and helpful, they will just lend their helping hand even they are not paid for that.
They make us feel like a family and we even offered help to serve food in the restaurant.
Jimmy: Thanks for being so helpful with the accommodation.
Zack: Thank you for offering help when our DSLR was stolen.
Kimie: I love you the most! You are such an inspiration to all of us! Thanks for the great story and the moment when we were catching crabs at the shore! Thanks for the beautiful shell as well =)
Man: It is so sweet for you to share your background with us, nice nasi lemak from your mom as well.
The backpackers are so cooperative as well.
They will not refuse us when we request for a video recording of them.
Backpackers from Norway, France, UK, Finland, Germany, USA: thank you for the help.
Laura and Carly: I love you girls! We were so impressed that you girls have already travel half across the globe at the age of 20.
Martha: It is so courageous to travel alone!

What can I say? I'm kind of addicted to backpacking already.
Yes we might not be enjoying luxurious lifestyle there but this is how you immerse yourself into the culture.
The culture is very different there.
People can just give up on what they've owned, just to pursue their dreams.
"I love the sea!" That's what a businessman from the city told us when we asked him why he left everything back then.
They live for themselves and this is very impressive.
I can never do that.
This trip is such an inspiration to all of us.
But I can't upload the pictures yet. We have to keep it a mystery till the presentation is done. So, stay tuned!

To all the backpackers out there, I strongly recommend you to stay at Moonlight Chalet if you are travelling to Long Beach at Perhentian Island. They have the best crew ever! Spot a monkey named Meelo there, she's the star of Long Beach! =)

I feel like going back to Perhentian and I believe that I will do it very soon! =)
Cheers group mates! I will upload our pictures when the presentation is done kay?
I love you all HAI POH! =)
