Of Low Yat, Pavilion and Terrible Cough

First of all, I've got my EF50mm f/1.8 lens! Yipee~

An outing was planned few days ago as roomie Ving wanted to get herself a new phone while Ginne babe was planning on buying a SLR. So we had decided to go to Low Yat on Friday, right after my Study Skills presentation. The presentation was a success and we manage to get a huge round of applause from the lecturer and also the crowd, although there were only 15 of them left in the class? Anyway the class was postponed and ended late, so as our outing. Anyway we immediately rushed back to our rooms, get dressed and rushed to the shuttle bus stop, take UCSI shuttle to BTS, LRT to Hang Tuah, and finally monorail to Bukit Bintang. Oh by the way did I just say "get dressed"? It's just round-neck-tee and shorts, not planning to get overdressed. We will be carrying stuffs and stuffs and stuffs. LOL. Reached Low Yat around 5, went to the place where I get my DSLR before to ask for pricing. They did offer good price during my time and this time slightly higher. And this time? Bargain time! Alright I'm not a mak cik but I have to admit that I'm really good in this. I managed to cut down the price, A LOT, with additional specs, GOOD SPECS. The reason why the price is higher this time because the promotion period is over and they have to re-adjust back the price to it's normal market price. So do my 50mm portrait lens, it was on promotion last December, price as low as RM269, now RM320 =( Anyway dealed Ginne's Canon EOS 500D at RM2670, where the original price for body and kit lens was RM2399, a filter worth RM289, An extra original battery from Canon, 8 GB Trans SD worth RM259, tripod, cleaning kit, screen protector and of course a bag. By the way I got myself an original battery at a low price of RM100 and also baby lens at RM320, spending RM420 to enhance and to boost up my baby camera. =)

Next target in shopping list, roomie Ving's N8. She has always wanted this model because the interface and stuffs are actually among the best of Nokia's. Finally she got the chance to do so after her HTC went wrong, spending RM1600 for a gorgeous black N8. Also we managed to get ourselves some amazing casings for our phones. A white leather casing for my BB, YUM!

Headed to Pavilion for food, planned on doing some shopping too but we are so loaded. Sounds like a forklift to me. LOL. Bought a can of Sticky candy (as shown in the first picture) and had our dinner at Sushi Tei.
