CNY break

Chinese New Year is around the corner and seriously this year is not that woo-hoo-ly prepared. The CNY atmosphere is just not there and surprisingly the whole Malaysia felt in this way. Maybe some CNY movies can boost up a bit? Watched Homecoming with Ginne today. It was again okay for me, not to expect too much for a CNY movie right? But Great Day brings larger impact for me if you really have to compare between them. Yes there are messages in Homecoming but maybe the storyline is expected and it doesn't contain the WOW factor, it doesn't really make people think though. Too bad. I like movies that let people think, at least a bit.

Had sushi as dinner and I was so shocked that they served us Chinese soy sauce instead of Japanese ones. For sure we can tell the difference right? Chinese soy sauce is salty and it has a very special fragrance that is only found in them where else Japanese shoyu tastes sweet and milder. Oh dear Sushi Queen, are you cutting the budget? Please don't. I do not expect Chinese food from a Japanese cuisine. Had udon and it was amazing! It has been ages since I had my last udon. I love udon =) Thought of having the green tea ice-cream as my dessert but then I was too full at that time. Maybe a McE sundae cone tomorrow afternoon will do.

By the way I viewed some pictures captured by a friend using SLR and they are so not SLR! To be honest they look even worse than pictures from my friend's 7.1 mega pixels compact camera. Is it the manufacturer's fault or what? Hmm... Maybe he set the ISO so high that most of his pictures are so blur with less details? But why is the picture still so dark when he uses a high ISO? Please also play with aperture and shutter speed before you snap kay? Oh ya there's also the Image Stabilizer in your SLR, utilize it alright? =)

Anyway today is a great day. God loves me so much that I managed to get my phone back after I left it in the cinema hall. Stupid me. And for that I had decided to reward myself with a small piece of delicious bah-guah for my supper. Don't worry, it's just 3cm*2cm. I'm going back tomorrow for an early break so don't miss me too much! Might not be updating so often until I get some nice pictures during the lovely CNY.
Happy Chinese New Year!
Congratulations on being wealthy!
Ten thousand things like yee!
