Bitch by the Beach =)

It has been forever since I last update my blog and I know it. I'm so sorry that I've been away for this long as I was out the cities few days ago. Where? You would have know about it if you realize the changes in my Facebook status. I've been off to PD for a 4D3N church camp and it was too awesome that I have to take enough rest back at home before I start working again =)

The theme of this camp is "Me versus Myself" where we were supposed to explore the original me, which somehow no longer exist in this materialistic world. A lot of people has been hiding themselves from the world. Not exactly staying at home or sit around the corner, but then they always pretend to be strong and tough, even mean sometimes just to be stronger than the others. Some even fake or bluff on how wonderful their life is, regardless of facing even their TRUE friends.

I was simply amazed by all the work done by the committee as everything conducted is related to the theme. How hard! I had organised a lot of camps before but as a participant? Not many times though. That's a good chance where you can observe and learn how people work together as a team in an organization.

OK let's get it officially started. Emelia and I were kind of worry when we had decide to go for the camp. Well you know, we are complete outsiders for the camp. But then the whole group did get along well very soon and we had hell lot of fun man! Day 1 was like, ice-breaking, move in, ice-breaking. Day 2: STATION GAMES! Again it was hell lot of fun and all of us enjoy ourselves to the max. The only problem was like, my leader was not around most of the time and there's 1 hyperactive kid who can't really behave =.= Well you know since I have the leadership skills in me (tak tau malu), I have to take over the group sometimes. The games was not too challenging and we did cooperate well and came out in third place. Which was kinda OK for us. FYI my group has the curse of being last all the time based on our leader, Christopher Soo's previous experience. Day 3: even more games! "Major Ball" is a game where players from all teams will have to compete and fight for balls to goal. And FYI there were more than 1 ball in the court, varies from ping pong to beach ball. Damn exciting wei~ And you know what? Our group came in last as predicted. DUH~

OK religious part. The sessions and sharing were amazing and I did manage to get myself into God's path again. Well you know we might forget to rely on and to pray to Him sometimes. We even forgot to let go our burden. You can feel the love of God again, deeply. Pastor Faith and Pastor Joanne was awesome! Love Rao Yan Ting in the camp too! Too bad she didn't sing for us =(

Oh ya before I forgot, I got an individual award in the camp. It's the Supportive Award where I'm being everyone's nanny throughout the camp. I'm the MOMMY!

Lazy already. Let the pictures do the talking.
